Get credit for what you know

Whether you’re at 河北快三开奖结果 or on the front lines, your experiences may count for college credit.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is designed to help you save money and graduate faster. Turn your on-the-job training, workplace certifications, military service, and your experiences into potential college credit. Even the skills you’re sharpening during these unprecedented times, like stress management and parenting, can help you move closer to your goals.

For every three credits earned, you’ll:

Save up to
$1,200 in tuition

Graduate five
weeks faster

In 2019, students who earned PLA credits were awarded 10 credits on average*.

*PLA awards are based on individual evaluations.

There is a one-time $99 fee. However, PLA is 100% risk-free.
If you don’t earn credit you don't pay a dime.

How to get credit

There are three ways PLA might work for you:

Explore testing providers

Take a college entrance exam

If you have extensive knowledge in a specific subject, you may be able to test out of a class or two. We accept passing scores from a number of national testing programs.
